Had a day off today and jus decided to laze around the house, doing some sketching, reading and check out any good gigs coming to Sydney.
Turns out there's some kind of underground rock explosion happening at the moment with acts like Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack, Coheed and Cambria and Death of Fashion playing the next few months. Must admit I caught a bit caught up with the amount of potential gigs I wanted to go to then realise I shouldn't be spending money so freely on concerts... =S.
Anyway might just go check out Motion City Soundtrack and be content until November, when U2 will return to Sydney (much love goes out to the band, I agree with them, family comes first and no love is lost).
Going for dinner later today with my uni chums who I havent really been in touch with for the last 6 months with everyone's business and all, I wonder if they're still the same...
