singalong indie goodness

Hey guys haven't blogged in a while, it's been a quite busy few weeks. My dad came to sydney for a week which was good, chilling with a complete family is always better.
My sister got baptised, which was really encouraging as I thought back to when I got baptised myself. Seems like everyone is growing up somewhat...

Caught 2 bands played on the weekend, both were excellent in different ways. Gyroscope put on one the most energetic yet tight performances I've seen in a rock band in ages. Funnily enough, they got me thinking about how Surreal would sound like if everyone was 15 years (ok 20 years)younger....
Death Cab can really only be described as a treat for fans and newcomers to the genre alike. 1 hour of hits and new material, all with a fair share of sing alongs (my favourite was I'll follow you into the dark). Nothing ground breaking but then again worth every cent.
