there are a lot of reasons why i liked Batman Begins and why you should see it:
- Unlike the other Batman movies after Batman returns this one doesnt suck
- The story for this one is tight, the dialogue is meaningful and actually reveals a lot about the philosophy and character of Batman, someone email George Lucas, he needs to watch this and learn how to write a good story about good vs evil
- The guy playing Batman (Christian Bale) did an awesome job i think in portraying Bruce Wayne, NOT a wise cracking Dr Gadget with a cape (aka George Clooney) but a man who struggles to become that which he fears.
- The costumes in this movie do not have nipples on them
- The characters in this movie does not include Robin
- The Batmobile, though silly looking is probably one of the coolest movie props i've seen in a long time
- Liam Neeson proves once again that he is a true Jedi on the screen
- Gotham City is actually a believable setting as a city that has declined into a "hell on Earth" and you can actually believe that it is a city worth saving rather than looking at it and wondering what the designer was smoking. No seriously, the details in this movie are quite amazing and contributes a lot to the story
- Finally, while we were walking out of the cinema, one of my friends commented that he didnt really like it, a old guy approached us, we thought he was trying to pick a fight because he sounded offended at hearing us say the movie wasnt good, we then spent the next 10 minutes talking about how good the movie was.

Honestly, i walked in the theatre with low expectations, but Batman Begins is one of the best superhero movies because it doesn't betray a fan's imagination but delivers a vision of the thankless hero that doesn't pretend he can save the world but devotes his time to bringing justice from the darkness
